This year we are planning the 2006 Prom here at Wingate High School. In the last few months we have been facing a tough challege to improve the Prom's reputation. In the past years there were Proms that really made a let down and have caused the decrease in attendance. Thus we have came up with so much themes and differences we had to do a survey. Only we did not do it, we just decided to let the Prom Committee decided, since we were planning it.
I am still confuse on how we decided to do it, and hoiw much we had to buy. Our gym is so huge that we needed to buy plenty of decorations. The only trouble was we did not know the exact measurement of the gym. So we got stuck in that place,a nd now we are only guessing the measurements. TO BE CONTINUED...........

a great victory last night for the Lady Bears. They actually won against Red Mesa, in the Shiprock Tourney! Interesting! well I gotta go that was the lastest I got. Ohh yeah the score was 77-29. wow a big blow out. Tonight the Boys Basketball will play Sandia Prep, lets pray they win, and Wingate Lady Bears are going back to Shiprock! Last night I had the weirdest arguement over a dumb issue about preserving the Navajo culture and tradition. my friend says its too late to even teach a High School student about the importance of the Navajo Tradition. I on the other hand dis-agree, why? It might sound crazy, but a teen still has that knowledge in their head to make a change. He says that it would be better if we teach the younger generation about the tradition, come on! The kids need their fun, Heh! Well I think that it should be taught to the older teens and not the elementry students!
